P. Konstantina Kiousis


Dr. Konstantina Kiousis is a professor in the strategy and entrepreneurship area at the Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis. She holds a BA with high honors and distinction from UC Berkeley and a PhD from The Anderson School at UCLA. She also studied at Oxford University (U.K.), the Karl Marx University of Economic Sciences (Hungary) and the University of Athens (Greece). Prior to joining Olin, Dr. Kiousis was a faculty member at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and at The Ohio State University in Columbus. She has taught courses in strategic management, corporate & global strategy, management consulting, critical thinking, introduction to business, macroeconomics, and business in emerging markets. Over the course of her career, she has been honored with distinguished teaching awards and supervised award-winning PhD students. Recently, she received the Reid Teaching Award as the best undergraduate instructor at the Olin business school and was nationally recognized for her teaching, named one of Poets & Quants Favorite Professors of Business Majors in 2019 and again in 2022. Dr. Kiousis has also worked on a variety of consulting projects with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies, such as Amazon, Victoria’s Secret, and Cardinal Health to startups around the globe. Dr. Kiousis is actively involved with students and recently, she helped get a new student group off the ground, Web3 at WashU, where she serves as the faculty advisor. Recently, Dr. Kiousis was appointed Faculty Development Fellow in the Office of the Provost, where she is working to advance faculty mentoring across the entire university. She also co-owns and manages a real estate investment firm and a home improvement business with holdings in California.

Professor Kiousis is married with twin daughters. She is a native of California and enjoys going to concerts, spending time with her children and solving puzzles. She also speaks fluent Greek and enjoys reading philosophy. Her favorite work of philosophy is Meno, one of the dialogues of Plato.
